Sometimes I might watch a streamed episode and then download the same episode later. Streamed episodes can be awfully big sometimes. Sometimes streamed episodes are three or four hundred something Mb. I like it better when the streaming is much smaller because I'm not going to keep those so I don't really care how it looks.

I don't feel a need to get MKV files for TV episodes more than 380 Mb or so in size. But sometimes you don't have much of a choice. It's pretty common to have 500+ Mb file sizes for TV episodes now. For the shows I don't plan on watching I often get the smallest Xvid files available. I try to avoid the super huge files.
You watch it streamed then download it again later? That definitely inflates your numbers. Speaking of numbers, I don't know how long I've been posting on this board, but to this day it STILL blows my mind how many shows you watch!

One advantage of having an older computer is that I'm forced to watch the lower res files. If a release is anything above 480p, I don't bother getting it because I know my computer can't handle it.
