Rob and Terrence, thanks a lot for reading my comics.

Rob,
I'm glad that you are now aware of the incredible sport of takraw. Maybe some day you will be able to see it performed live, where it's an incredible sight to see. check this 3 min video out of the 2006 match between Thailand and Malaysia.. Everytime I see it I get goosebumbs! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CP6ykzsK0M

I'm pleased that you prefered The Spirit Bear over my first comic. The reason is simple - I expected to improve with every comic. I've heard the opposite from many people who enjoyed The Spirit of Takraw more which kind got me down. So when I hear someone say they like the second story better, I'm happy.

To me a more simplistic style works better with comedy, so with Soda Pop Sa I decided to keep the faces simple, and put more into the backgrounds. I agree that I need to improve my figures, and with time it will get better. However I disagree with the comment on character design, as I'm quite happy with the looks of my characters. I recently had a group pic of 19 charaters up on the smack jeeves site (I will put it back up soon) where you can see the veriety in the faces.. Many of them have very different shaped proportions, which you don't see in a lot of manga, and because of this I believe their personalities will come accross better.

*I just remembered that group pic is on the www.sodapopsa.com site, but it's too small, and the pixels don't all show for some reasonOhwell

Soda Pop Sa does have an element of fantasy, but it's really just a story about a regular  guy that needs to change. His grandmother is a witch who turned his grandfather into a cat, and that's just about the only aspect of fantasy in the comic. The grandfather won't reveale himself to the public, and the comic won't have any other talking animals. Chapter two will establish his grandparents story and get you familiar with their characters. By the end of chapter three you will have a good grasp of what this comic is all about, but not until then.

Even though you can't recommend my comics to any of your friends, I hope you do continue to read my comics long enough for Soda Pop Sa to grow on you.

Terrence,
That's funny about the right to left, it messes me up sometimes too LOL!

Soda Pop Sa takes place in 2010, and even though I plan to draw it over the next 5+ years, it will all take (most likely) place during about a 1 year period.

The pics of me are from Anime Evolution 2010. I probably won't get a table next year, but when my webcomics are more well known I will probably return.
