Kuragehime #5.

This was pretty much a continuation of threads from last time. You know those little dolls that look like ghosts that Japanese youngsters hang in their window frames? I finally learned what those are. They are called "teruteru bozu". You make it as a good luck charm to ward off rain for an important outdoor event you want to participate in, like an undoukai (athletic day at the school).

What was funny about this ep was that it rained almost continuously, and they kept showing shots of Tsukumi's drenched teruteru bozu. An ironic symbol of her utter inability to control anything about her life, and if I hadn't learned about teruteru bozu it would have gone right past me.
