Too bad Yakumo series is so short. They had to cram a lot of stuff into the first episode. But the first episode reminded me manga I've read where one character is able to see something others cannot. I know they left out a lot of the specifics in the first episode, but it still reminded me of them.

The World God Only Knows 1 (okay - 5.35):

This was okay. The first episode had a very different feel from how I felt reading the manga. Didn't expect them to pull out the full orechestra for the background music. Gives an entirely different feel to things. The music makes it seem like the story is going to be deeper than it really is. The manga felt more light, comedic and fast paced. The anime felt more serious and slow. Took me awhile to get into the manga. Mostly I liked it for the gamer jokes. It helps to have familiarity with what they're making fun of otherwise the jokes won't have as much meaning. The seiyuu for Keima did fine. Keima looks less like Lelouch than he did in the manga. Got used to thinking about Jun Fukuyama doing his voice, but what we had here was fine. No complaints.
