Kure-nai 6 (okay - 5.40):
This was kind of weird. I don't have much to say about this one. It wasn't one of my favorite episodes of the series.

Tower of Druaga 7 (okay - 5.44):
This was alright.



Vampire Knight 6 (okay/decent - 5.54):
This was pretty interesting. Lots of dramatic tension in this episode. The artwork looked pretty sharp in it most of the time.

I finished my Jury Duty today so hopefully I can watch some currently airing anime on Friday.

It's been too long since I seen new anime already. I feel anime deprived.

Thanks. It was an enjoyable trip. My dad and I took the inter-island Superferry from Oahu to Maui while we were there. Had to wake up at 4AM on Sunday to make the ferry at 6AM. It took three hours and twenty minutes one way, but it cost only $39 each way per person (right now). To fly by plane would have cost $104 each way per person. Never went by ferry before so we thought we'd try it. I kept my eyes closed much of the trip to reduce my motion sickness chances. I took that motion sickness spray and it probably helped. I got a headache, but not much else. It was a nice ship with friendly crew.

Had an early flight to San Francisco on the way back. We waited 2 1/2 hours for the flight from San Francisco to Los Angeles. By the time we got home it was around 9:15 PM PDT. I started downloading dying torrents. I went to sleep around 1:30AM due to unpacking chores, etc. Wednesday was my day off, but I spent much of the day catching up on things I'd fallen behind on because of the trip. My dad took off work so I suggested that we go see "Iron Man" since this was one of the rare times we were both off work at the same time. Wednesday night I had to prepare for Jury Duty by printing out city maps, etc. I only had to serve one day (didn't get selected). Walking to my workplace after getting off the bus, I let them know what happened and I got home around 5:00PM. I was pretty tired by that point and didn't get much sleep the night before. Still had some other business to catch up on so it still wasn't a good time to watch anime, answer PMs/e-mail or post on message boards. I'm scheduled to work eight hours on Friday and Saturday to catch up on work that piled up while I wasn't around.

Things should get completely back to normal next week. I'm tired and I need a good nights sleep. I'd like to wake up after 4:50AM one of these days.

I'm burning the anime that starts with "P" so I had to get this off of my C Drive. I didn't get into this anime. It didn't fit my tastes at all. The first segment showed the penguin stuck in walls/ceilings, etc trying to get free. The second segment showed the penguin trying to apologize to the boy because of something dumb that he had said to a girl concerning him earlier. "Penguin no Mondai" kind of reminds me of "Keroro Gunso" because in "Keroro Gunso" the frogs do crazy/silly stuff and the children that are with them have to deal with their mischief/weirdness.

Da Capo 2 Second Season 9 (pretty good - 5.83):
For me, this was one of the saddest anime episodes I've seen in the past three years (excluding Kanon 2006-2007's eps). I really liked it. Otome is my favorite character and this episode really put her through the emotional wringer. Looks like the ending could turn out to be one of those types of endings that I really love and remember for years to come. I hope they handle it right and don't make the mistake of making the emotions feel forced like much of Clannad's first season's dramatic scenes felt.

Fireball 4 (okay/fair - 5.18 ):
I found the first two episodes somewhat amusing, but the third and fourth episodes...not so much. But the episodes from this series are only a minute and twenty three seconds long so it's not as though I feel I'm wasting my life away watching it. This episode was about the rich robot girl talking to her helper robot about invitation letters she had written for a party.

Kure-nai 7 (okay/decent - 5.54):
I liked how they mixed slice-of-life stuff with the advancement of the main plot. Nasty family secrets are slowly coming out. I've already read of some of them on Suki when the series first started.

Geez...only about 26 days before the summer season officially begins and at least a couple series begin June 11th and June 21st. Where has all the time gone.

I downloaded a 30day free bandwidth monitor program and I turned it on seven hours ago. During that time I've only downloaded one anime file and already it says I used up 360 Mb download and 33 Mb upload. Watching one YouTube live action music video alone used up 12 Mb of bandwidth. Since that Road Runner plan is 40 Gb per month and $1 for each extra Gb over that counting both upload and download amounts, I know I wouldn't even come close to that amount.

I've spent 100 Mb in bandwidth alone today just surfing the web and leaving my computer on for five hours. Imagine how much bandwidth I would have used if I counted an entire day and downloaded 8-10 files during that day?

This isn't looking good. I'm curious to see how much bandwidth I use in the next four weeks even with me turning my router off. I used 0.40 Mb in download bandwidth and 0.08 Mb upload bandwidth in 19 minutes just from having my computer and router turned on and me eating lunch.

I'm going to keep an eye on what I do in the future.

Special A 4 (okay - 5.41):
This series is surprisingly sweet in rather roundabout, less cliched ways. That's what I like about it. It reminds me a little of Ouran's "roundabout sweetness" in that respect. The comedy for both series was front and center, but every once in a awhile that underlying sweetness sprang forth. This time it's the girl that's romantically dense instead of the guy. That makes things a little more interesting. I like stories where characters come to the realization that they actually have feelings for someone instead of the feelings coming on so obviously and knowingly.

Zettai Karen Children 7 (okay - 5.40):
This was alright I guess. Little long term development so far since I think this is a pretty long series.

Wagaya no Oinarisama 8 (okay - 5.40):
This wasn't too bad. More comedy and supernatural conflicts. Nothing too spectacular, but it was entertaining enough.

Special A 5 (okay - 5.41):
The story went back to comedy of having another contest at school. I liked the second half more. It had a nice atmosphere to it and they gave us a couple of understated "sweet" scenes again.

Don't read Mahoromatic spoilers until you are finished with the series.

Special A 6 (okay - 5.45):
I liked this episode and I thought it was funny. It reminded me of a couple of blended Hana Yori Dango anime episodes. Or is it that I'm just being reminded of elements from other shoujo stories that were inspired by Kaoru Tada? Maybe it's both.

Nabari no Ou 6 (okay - 5.40):
This was mostly a thoughtful, philosophical kind of episode. Not much activity took place during it. I can't quite drop this series yet, but this will probably be one of the casualities that will have to go before the new Summer anime season begins. I don't think this is a bad series, but I can't be watching too many shows at the same time.

....and furthermore there's basically only one real female character in this series anyway.

Vampire Knight 7 (okay/decent - 5.45):
This consisted mostly of flashbacks to the past involving the three main characters. There wasn't anything particularly unexpected because of the stuff we already know.

Tower of Druaga 8 (okay/decent - 5.45):
This was mostly comedic, but the ending seems to point toward hidden agendas. Makes me wonder what will happen to our two intrepid groups in the future. Jil ended up getting the goofy scenes again.

Vampire Knight 8 (okay/decent - 5.51):
This was entertaining. I liked the conversation that tok place between Yuki and Zero. It was a good balance between seriousness and humor. The rest of it was interesting too. Several plotlines are forming at the same time.

Payment was made on Thursday and yet it apparently still hasn't gone though yet.

I hate when payments take a long time.
