The episode made you interested in town festivals?
Shigofumi 11 (decent - 5.60): This episode didn't surprise me as much as I thought it would. But it still made me want to watch the last episode right away. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Shigofumi 12 (decent - 5.58 ): Not a bad ending. My second favorite anime ending out of the five I've seen lately. I still wouldn't call it a "standout memorable" ending however.

At least there was some unpredictability to it. I thought the end was a somewhat corny though. I wish the corniness weren't there, but I can live with the decision I suppose. It kind of bothered me that she could move so fast after just getting out of a three year coma.  Overall: I liked Shigofumi even though I thought it was a bit inconsistent. Some episodes were definitely better than others. I didn't like it enough to be sure it will make my favorite anime of the year list, but it probably will be on there somewhere.

Rosario to Vampire 12 (fair - 5.12):
This was rather annoying to watch.

It reminded me of the ending of the first season of Da Capo 2 because the way everyone acted doesn't make much sense. I wish their personality
switches felt logical, but the way everyone changed all of a sudden just takes me out of the story. This is definitely one of the weakest anime shows
I've ever come close to finishing in the last several years. I'm reading a lot of people's complaints about the weak ending too. It's all
so sad and blah.

One of the better dramas to come out in a while has finally finished. I admit it was a pretty good ride. What did I think of the final episode? Well, I was very ...

... disappointed, quite frankly. Despite my girl "winning" at the end, I wasn't happy at all because it didn't remotely meet my expectations. One guy at the A-Suki forums described it best when he said everything leading up to the final was like watching a huge missile head towards you, ready to explode with a huge bang when it finally hit. Instead, it landed with a dull thud (at least for me it did). I think my biggest problem is that they gave it away way too early in the episode. As soon as Shinichiro told Hiromi to wait for him to come for dinner, it was the most in-your-face way of telling the viewer who won without Shin actually looking at the viewer and saying, "Hey, I choose Hiromi." I wasn't too happy with the scene with Noe either. It wasn't heartbreaking, or even all that dramatic IMO. I just wasn't feeling it. When Shin was singing out Hiromi being the one in his heart (as Noe walked away), did anyone else think it felt like he was forcing himself to believe it was true? And during the final confession scene, I thought he sounded like he was forcing himself to say things. Also, what REALLY bugged me in this scene in particular was that there seemed to be no sense of relief on Shin's face. I thought he looked more angry or annoyed than happy and relieved that he finally could go on with Hiromi by his side. I just wasn't feeling the final confession scene at all. There was no sense of joy in me. No sense of relief. No sense of anything. I really, really, really, really wanted to be overjoyed, but it just never happened. I was also expecting something symbolic like them taking a stroll down the path in the bamboo forest with only one shoe/slipper on like they did so many years ago, and that didn't happen either. *sigh* I predicted that Noe would finally get her "true tears" back because of Shin dumping her, so that wasn't all that surprising. Although I was hoping for a Hiromi ending, I can't help but feel Noe's final part in the story was somehow lacking in emotional "oomph." That really is too bad. As for Ai, in hindsight why was she even in this show? 
Final / General Thoughts Overall, I think this was a fantastically animated show with some pretty good writing and direction. It wasn't perfect by any means, but I found it unpredictable at times and very entertaining, and I'm very glad that I picked this show to watch until the end. If Bandai Visual releases this show on two (or at the most three) bluray discs at a good price, I may even consider picking this up. Would I recommend this show? I do get tired of people who bash a show just because their girl loses. If their girl loses because of illogical or bad writing, then maybe you have a case for bashing it. However, I'm pretty sure for most shows the writers know who will win at the end even before the show starts airing, so it's not like they pull it out of their butts with one or two episodes to go. And you're never going to satisfy everyone anyway, so why try? If you're the writer, it's your responsibility to tell the world YOUR story, not let the world tell you what they want.

Another great show has ended, and it was indeed a great show. Hiromi was probably the character that most came out in the end and made us love her, while during the whole show she was pretty vague about her intentions, in the end she changed drastically for the best, she was comprehensive, delicate, beautiful, I think I fell in love with her , but at a certain point in this last episode she almost seemed desperate,
but no, she was just being patient.
In this last episode there were some landmarks, the first being when Shinichiro ask's Hiromi what was going to be the supper, from that moment on, one could just close the book because that question did the confirmation . The second landmark for the most airheads was when Shinichiro said to Noe that he was in love with Hiromi. Noes song about Shinichiro was cool to hear also. Two points that felt out of order; 1st - Shinichiro's mother, which was a completely Biatch during almost the whole show and then just like that she had a complete change of heart... I guess the number of total episodes the show had, didn't gave her time to be a incredible evil being and spoil the Hiromi/Shinichiro relation. 2nd - Ai, or what was her name, the third girl, never really got on the run for Shinichiro, never influenced anything and in the end she was pointless for the love circle. But all in all, the show was great, too bad that they closed the chapter and pretty much left it clear that there won't be another season for this. All in all; 8.0 - Definitely a very good romance.

Despite the Supper question, I actually began to think that he was close to abandon Hiromi, which I think it was one of the strong points of the show, it could actually happen, but then if it were to happen, the ending was sure to be weird and abnormal. But then, Hiromi would just continue her role of the abandoned girl which almost seemed that she was already doing. Besides, on the last episodes we saw Hiromi dedication to Shinichiro, but never really saw a good reply from Shinichiro, except when Hiromi moved from his house and he went running after her. That situation could actually have happened. Thankfully it didn't  .
The Shinichiro reaction towards Noee leaves me thinking on what could have happened if this show had it's 26 episodes. BTW, this was directed by one of the directors that did Ranma. Nice fact .
Spice And Wolf #13 [FINAL] - 7.7 Pretty Good
There were times during the show were I thought that they were complicating lots of simple stuff, but in some ways, those served to build some atmosphere
which we don't see regularly, which was good. Plus it's European spirit and attempts at some forgotten type of original folklore, all this was joined
with the great character development that the show had mostly by Horo's fault, it was truly delightful to see her performance throughout the series.
Final rate: 7.0 - Nice series KGNE OVA #2 - 5.8 - Okay Recap episode of what happened on the TV series, told by Mizuki, It was nice to remember the events of the TV series already blurred somewhere on the
memory.

Actually the events in KimiNozo OVA episode 2 are not the same as the TV series:

I just got through talking about how I understand more of the anime parodies in Noble Masters than Hayate and then I view this episode where I understand almost none of them. |

I heard they weren't huge changes, but they affected the balance of the relationships.
Yotsunoha 2 (okay - 5.43): Not bad. This OVA was filled with sentimentalism and osananajimi-ism.
Nice to hear Yuko Goto voicing another fun gaming character. I didn't even recognize her voicing Miyu in "Noble Masters".  I don't know if I'll rewatch this again, but I thought it was a
decent time waster. I still much prefer the Mizuiro second OVA to this.

Nice to see the story from Mitsuki's point of view. I liked this episode more than I thought I would. It made Mitsuki a more likeable character for me. It's not that I ever disliked her. I just found it hard to get into her character from the TV series because she always had a "down" atmosphere surrounding her (although for good reason). That kind of atmosphere clashes with mine since I prefer characters that can "lift me up" somehow or "put me in a better frame of mind" so to speak. It's difficult not to like Mitsuki from what we seen here. This episode made it look like this story is a "I'm going to build a foundation for myself first before I return to you and sweep you off your feet" type of gaming ending.
Those type of gaming endings can be deceptive because they can make it appear like the characters are about to break up at the beginning of those story arcs.

I liked the first OVA better. I liked about four of the jokes. I like the "choices" joke the most, but I have no idea what that last Makoto choice was supposed to be (it looked like a Psycho bathtub draining water picture). Sometimes it reminded of the goofy parts of the Happiness! anime. Speaking of attractive gaming/anime moms - the CGs of Konomi's mom in "To Heart 2 Another Days" is rather attractive.
I searched the internet for twelve minutes trying to find a good picture of her and I can't find one. One of these days I'll have to post a good picture of her.

Totally unpredictable ending. I agree mostly with Terence on this one. I also can't say that I'm absorbed by the show but, sometimes it has something that grabs us.

Unfortunately this episode went back to the slow, relaxed talking scenes that many of the previous episodes had. I didn't find the talking scenes too interesting. Everyone is basically only talking about their curiousity and trying to fiigure out what is going on (like the confused viewers of the anime ). The ending of the episode built up a bit of tension, but unfortunately the moment didn't last for very long.

Persona 15 (okay/decent - 5.45):
This was a slow paced, but interesting episode. The situation was explained in a more straight forward manner so it was easier to understand. That red haired girl looked better with her hair down, but as we know character designers like giving their characters more distinctive hair to distinguish them from other anime characters. ....or they give female characters "hair-antennas" (forgot the Japanese name for those things). Spice and Wolf 7 (okay - 5.44): This wasn't terribly exciting. What I always liked about this series the most was the dialog and Horo. Other than that there wasn't too much interest for me in this episode. Another season of this would be nice. You don't see characters like Horo very often.

Persona 16 (okay/decent - 5.47):
The screws are tightening up. More direct conflicts are occuring. Should be interesting to watch the fights in the future. Persona 17 (decent - 5.60): I thought this was pretty good even if it was resolved a little too conveniently. This anime for me is the opposite of "Nabari no Ou" in that I find the "Persona" characters to be pretty likeable and sympathetic. I see they stuck some humor in there even in the midst of a life threatening crisis.
Persona 18 (okay - 5.38 ) : I liked the previous episode so much. It's a shame we've reverted back to the "confusing slow-paced storytelling" method again. I have no idea what the heck this episode meant. It felt somewhat boring to me.

Persona 19 (okay/decent - 5.53):
This was rather weird, but kind of nice at the same time. I like these "weird" episodes more than the slow paced "what-the-hell/no-explanation" episodes.
This time we got some background on Takurou. Persona 20 (okay/decent - 5.48 ): This was kind of mental. Always remember never to get a Mai Nakahara character pissed off. It's not safe and I don't recommend it. 
I've recognized the word "Kujira" ever since I seen "Saishuu Shiken Kujira". In this anime's case though it's not too helpful. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Persona 21 (decent - 5.60): Now this was pretty neat. It was kind of spooky too. They explained quite a lot in this episode and what they said was troubling.
