At least it's not as bad as that guy Card Captor Opening or the guy Rozen Maiden anime sequence.
I find this True Tears/300 Movie trailer parody to be hilarious. It reminds me of that Lord of the Rings trailer/Azumanga Daioh parody: SOME SPOILERS FOR THE TRUE TEARS ANIME:

That'd be Rinoa from Final Fantasy 8. Speaking of FF8, I should be starting that game as soon as I finish FF2. I was quite surprised and confused to see that chick from Ninja Gaiden show up for the DOA side because I thought the teams were only made up of characters from FF and DOA. But after Kairi showed up (from Kingdom Hearts) dual-wielding keyblades (awesome!), I realized that the creator was branching out into other series. Can't wait for Part III! > Siren After reading the Wiki article, the parody makes more sense. But I think I'd have to play the game to fully appreciate it.

Geez...and I was never very good at those jumping games either. Pretty crazy being able to do that.
And how did the AIR get in there?
The only video games I was fairly decent at were Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and sort of Tempest.

Not only Air. There are a ton of anime songs in there too. I signed up at Nico Nico Douga (the source of this vid) to see if I could get the mp3 of the song,
but my problem is that I barely made it through the sign up process because it's 100% in Japanese. The sign up page alone maxed out my Japanese reading
skills, and so getting to the actual page with the video is a something i'm just too lazy to tackle right now.
 I'll have to go through it later to
see if there's even an mp3 available.

That's a lot of work. I wonder how long it took them to do that?
I'm not very good at recognizing those songs except for the obvious AIR, Haruhi and Lucky Star songs. Some of the others sound familiar, but I don't
know them well enough to know from what part of the anime they come from.

Yeah, I only recognized Suzumiya, Air and Bokurano.
That guy/girl is pretty good at super mario. I had a ZX Spectrum Spectrum (on with audio tapes working as mediums) in those days, unfortunately most people from way back only had Nes, or Master System, so it's hard to reminisce on those gaming days, at least with major public anyways. |
