I hope he doesn't drop out of anime, he's one of my favourite seyuus. Funny that you speak of it, I watched a eraly work of his last night, getter Robo original series, he sure sounds young there playing the leading role.

I read something before on MAL that he had dropped out of Detective Conan anime due to disagreements between the production and his requirements.

Aw that's too bad. Oh well I guess they moving ahead from here.
Hope we still hear from him sometime in the future. EDIT: Have you guys seen the clips from the Macross 25th Anniversary concert?: http://randomc.animeblogger.net/category/macross/

Ah, yeah, I gave a quick watch before. Someone posted some links on the MAL club. It looked interesting. Macross frontier Seyuus singing in full Budokan.
[EDIT] They can make the most absurd recommendations back at MAL. This time it was a Umineko No Nako>Paranoira Agent... I have seen some absurd ones before too, I'm sure if I kept myself more attention I'd spot some even more weirder ones. anyway, still in the Macross topic, check out this new game; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crojp_tNqdA It looks like Macross is clearly high on popularity these days thanks to Frontier.

I got an impression that it was something like flippers or something like it. But I may be very wrong, since they have the most exquisite type of arkades back
in japan and go beyond our little arkade universe of joystick-keys/flippers, at least mine
.

I didn't know that Sailor Mars used an assault weapon:
http://img223.auctions.ya...1256532233xa8or77643.jpg "Put Your Hands Up!!" \o/
EDIT: Oh look...an early poster version of Jan 2010 shows in this MAL thread: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=127447 Violent picture for that "Dance in the Vampire Bund".
Nodame Cantabile Finale! Qwaser of Stigmata. How are they going to handle the breast feeding?
Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu -- I didn't like the manga, but maybe I'll be able to endure the TV series. "Hidden God" looks cool...graphically. Chu-Bra!! ---- oh boy....there it is.
Omamori Himari ----- I like the manga a lot, but I'm sure the TV series won't be half as good as it. They'll probably turn it campy and silly like what happened with Kampfer. Okay...Kampfer was already that way, but they multiplied it by several times.

Already here? they were fast this time.
Nodame Cantabile will be the most anticipated anime from my part. The rest... oh well. I can't really tell, but it's like they're more of the same, another vampire princess, more moe, more extreme ecchi... |

HAHA. That "Kisama" screenshot version was the best. It was taken from Gundam Zeta.
But they also had stuff there that weren't errors from fansubs, but intentional jokes of the animes shown. Still very funny. |

Looks like there's an advertisement at the top of MAL pages now. MAL pages take longer to load now.

I use this very useful little add-on on firefox that blocks pretty much all the pop ups and advertisements, called Adblock Plus.
Heres an example of my MAL page opened with Internet Explorer without Adblock Plus.
And heres an example of the same page opened with Firefox with Adblock Plus.
I hope it helps.

Well that's true there's Adblock Plus. I was using it for awhile, but I started getting those popups at different places that would say,
"We're detecting that your using an adblocker. Please realize that we need ads to support the cost of bandwidth at this site." So I turned it off
for the most part.
The one I use to prevent trojans and malware from sites such as Manga Fox is NoScript. I was using the Adblocker Plus for over there too, but the NoScript worked better over there. But...you know I completely forgot about the Adblocker until you said that. Thanks for the suggestion though.

From what I heard NoScript is more flexible in what you can choose to block and not block. I'm not very good with it, but it seems to be pretty adjustable.
While digging through my room just now I found my 1998, 1999 and 2000 calendars. I'll be able to add more proper viewing dates to my MAL lists now. If I could find my 2001, 2002 and 2003 calendars it would be the most helpful though because that was sort of the dead zone between when I was writing everything down onto paper in 1998-2000 and when I started posting more about what I seen on this board. EDIT: Well that didn't take long. I found my 2003 calendar!

Rob de FR wrote: It's messy. I have a difficult time throwing things away. That's why I hate buying books and subscribing to magazines. All that stuff does is reduced to cubic meter space I have in my room. I still have nearly all of my fansub tapes too. I should throw away most of that because there's no way I'm going to watch them again. I just hate thinking about the hundreds of dollars I paid for those tapes. Now if I could only find the last two calendars. I noticed there are still some anime I didn't even write down on the calendars, but there's not much I can do about those. About the only thing I could do is rewatch parts of it and see if they jog my memory. |

Don't throw those tapes away! They have your memories in them. I may speak that way but I somehow also lost most of my tape collection throughout the years
and also due to the fact that I changed home a good handful of times. But i still have some that I still treasure with me even though i don't own a VCR
these days.
